Entry Requirements: Learners must be a minimum of 16 years old to complete this course and must be able to prove previous level 2 study.
Regulated Qualifications Framework
This unit is for those who prepare for, administer and monitor the effects of medication on individuals. The unit applies to all medication used for and by individuals, both prescribed and non-prescribed.

Certificate

On completion, you will receive a certificate stating that you have passed the Level 3 (RQF) Administer Medication and Monitor the Effects standalone unit, worth 5 credits.

You will have 3 months to complete this qualification.

Important Information

This Unit has a practical element which must be completed in a work setting.

Simulation is not permitted for this unit. Therefore, you must be able to observe medication administration and be observed administering medication to complete this unit.

If your nominated assessor cannot assess you in practice, for example, due to location, an expert witness will be required. You are strongly encouraged to identify and ensure that your chosen person is suitable to be your expert witness with us before enrolling on this course.
