Who Is This Course For?

 This course is for anyone who needs foundation knowledge about privacy and dignity as part of their paid or voluntary role.

This course covers the theoretical requirements for standard 7 of the Care Certificate.

  • Understand the principles that underpin privacy and dignity in care

Assessment

You must gain a minimum of 75% in the end of module assessments in order to gain your certificate for this course. You can attempt the assessments as many times as you would like.

Care Certificate

The Care Certificate offers foundation training for healthcare staff who do not have a formal qualification such as a RQF, NVQ or QCF Diploma. This is a nationally recognised certificate which can lead onto further qualifications such as the Level 2 (RQF) Diploma in Care.

The Care Certificate provides health and social care workers with the foundation skills, knowledge and behaviours required to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.

  • The Certificate takes approximately 12 weeks to complete.
  • You will be required to complete both theoretical and practical elements of the course.


Please note: To comply with Skills for Health regulations, only your employer can issue you with your final Care Certificate. Therefore, anyone can do their theory with us, but Care Academy can only issue the final Care Certificate to staff of LV Care Group. You should be wary of any training provider which is not part of your organisation who claims to be able to award your Care Certificate.

 Device: Although our courses work on any device connected to the internet, we recommend a desktop or laptop for optimal learning experience.

 Internet: You need to have an internet connection to access any of our online training courses.

 PDF Reader: Some of our courses come with PDFs and Word documents for download. You need to ensure that you have a PDF reader and word processor on your device to access these documents if you would like to download them.
